About Sarah

Before becoming an aunt to two lovely little lasses (pictured), I spent a few years as a babysitter and subsequently became a nanny to three energetic boys before going to college. After focusing on my field of study in commercial photography, I craved childcare work again. I've worked with two sisters as a mother's helper for 2 years previously, and as a nanny most currently to one kiddo under 2. My attitude with children is the same as it is to everyone. Be kind to yourself and others. Find the positive. Move your body. I try to spend time outside, interacting with nature, as much as possible. I value reading and love weekly library trips. I hand select books for kiddos interests at their level as well as areas that need improvement from counting to sharing. Cooking together is a great teaching tool. Cleaning up is a must, everyone pitches in. I can be a stickler for pleases and thank yous as I was taught by my Babushka to start young if you want it to stick.
