About Sarah

Before becoming an aunt to two lovely little lasses (pictured), I spent a few years as a babysitter and subsequently became a nanny to three energetic boys before going to college. After focusing on my field of study in commercial photography, I craved childcare work again. I've worked with two sisters as a mother's helper for 2 years, as a nanny to one kiddo under 2, and most currently a mother's helper to 2 under 3. My attitude with children is the same as it is to everyone. Be kind to yourself and others. Find the positive. Move your body. I try to spend time outside, interacting with nature, as much as possible. I value reading and love weekly library trips. I hand select books for kiddos interests at their level as well as areas that need improvement from counting to sharing. Cooking together is a great teaching tool. Cleaning up is a must, everyone pitches in. I can be a stickler for pleases and thank yous as I was taught by my Babushka to start young if you want it to stick.
