When I was 13 and allowed to start babysitting, I already had a waiting list of parents who recognized my gift with young children. After 17 years of providing care, I have not lost my silly charm, only gained the experience necessary to help raise children safely and teach boundaries. My favorite part of working with young children is being able to imbue them with a strong sense of independence and discipline, but also show them how better behavior can lead to more fun and silliness. I don't allow screen time 99% of the time (exceptions include sickness and a sibling having a class where there is nowhere for a kid to run around) and love reading time and crafts.

Sarah has been the nanny for our two children since they were babies. They are now 4 and 7, and since they both go to school, Sarah only needs to take care of them in the PM. We hope she is able to find another family to work for in the morning. Sarah is 100% dependable, punctual, and organized. She keeps track of all our children's activities, including homework, musical instruments, and special outfits for sports and dance. She is excellent at communicating with us about how the children's days were and whether there is anything we need to know. She knows the children's friends and organizes playdates for them. She is also creative and fun, coming up with arts and crafts projects that everyone loves. Sarah has her own car with child seats and a bike rack, which is essential for getting our kids from A to B. She's never late, and if she needs time off or a schedule change, she asks well in advance. She's equally proficient with babies and elementary schoolers. Sarah is great!
