About Sarah

Hello there! Please, allow me to introduce myself - My name is Sarah and I currently teach Algebra at a special needs high school, preparing my students for the regents exam. I've been working with kids in various capacities for many years! While I currently teach math, I first started working with kids back when I was a teen as at summer camps, STEAM mini camps, and have since gained experience in caring for and instructing children from grades K all the way up to 12. I would describe my personality as upbeat, kind, and approachable. I know each student has their own unique learning style and I strive to ensure learning is as fun and approachable as possible for every student. In my spare time, I like to create art in all forms! I love to sew, bake, cook, sculpt, draw, and occasionally paint. I would love to do any or all of these activities alongside your children if you're interested!
