I am currently a nanny for a boy with autism and recently gave my notice as I moved to Charlotte. I currently work mostly with the boy with autism (age 12), but I also help out as needed with his two brothers, (ages 3 and 5). I have 4 years nanny experience and over 10 years child care experience as a professional one-on-one therapist for kids with special needs in the home and community. I can work with the children on communication/ social skills and I know how to incorporate PECS/ picture schedules if you would like. I have excellent references and I am prompt and responsible and I care a lot about the families I work for. I'm active and can run around after the little ones as I know it takes a lot of energy and love to do this kind of work. I am CPR and First Aide certified and I was a swim teacher/ lifeguard for 3 years so I'm good about water safety. I also like to help teach kids through playing and I try to incorporate learning as much as I can.
