About Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am a certified K-6 teacher currently teaching first grade in a Wake County public school. I have been teaching in Wake County for the past 5 years in Kindergarten and 1st grade, and before that, I taught 2nd grade in Wilmington, NC. I specialize in supporting young learners with early literacy and foundational math skills. I can help with phonics, CVC word blending, fluency, sight words, writing sounds in words, addition and subtraction within 20, and overall academic confidence. I have experience meeting students where they are and helping them grow through patient, encouraging, and engaging instruction. I am available for tutoring during afternoon and evening hours on weekdays, as well as morning through evening hours on weekends. I would love to support your child's learning and help them feel more confident as they grow!
