About Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am a certified K-6 teacher currently teaching first grade in Wake County. I have taught Kindergarten and 1st grade in Wake County for the past 5 years, and I also previously taught 2nd grade in Wilmington, NC. I have lots of experience working with young children and creating a safe, caring, and engaging environment. As a teacher, I'm comfortable supporting children with routines, behavior, play, reading, homework, and age-appropriate activities. I am patient, dependable, and calm under pressure, and I truly enjoy helping children feel safe, confident, and cared for. I am available for babysitting during afternoon and evening hours on weekdays, as well as morning through evening hours on weekends.
