I have been a Nanny/Family Assistant, assisting with hygiene/grooming, transportation, supervising completion of homework, while also completing light household duties , meal preparation, and other as needed tasks given. I safely provided transport to and from school, dance, playdates, medical appointments, and extracurricular activities. I successfully implemented a reward based system to promote positive learning and manage behavior. I incorporated music, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities into time spent with kids. We hired Sarah thinking she would help us out for a few months, she has now been with our family for over 2 years. On top of that, Sarah has lived with us for over a year, helping us run our home full time. Sarah is amazing with children! She sings and plays all day long. She takes the initiative to find museums, parks and other fun activities for our girls. I love that when I'm away during the day, I know I'm not leaving my children with someone who is spending her time staring at her phone or using a television as a babysitter. Our youngest daughter was just over a year old when Sarah started with us and now she is headed off to preschool. My older daughter is 13 and loves Sarah like a sister. Sarah even volunteers at the local animal shelter with my teenage daughter every week on her own time. I can not express how lucky we were to find such an amazing nanny and friend, I would recommend her to anyone!
