About Sarah

I've been working with children for almost 20 years. I'm a certified Montessori teacher but have taught in traditional educational environments as well. I managed my own classroom for 8 years and have managed afterschool programs and teen groups as well. I am currently in grad school to become a licensed therapist. I have ample experience working with children of all ages (1-16) and especially with 3-6-year-olds. I've studied early childhood and child therapy. My discipline style is kind but firm. My first language is English, but I speak some German, Italian, and Spanish too. When I am with your children, they are my priority. I believe that the early years are some of the most important and most formative. I have lots of ideas for engaging your children in both indoor and outdoor play, cooking, and art projects. I love reading to and with them and helping them with homework. I believe that parents are the first teachers, and so I abide by your methods and your rules.
