Hello, my name is Sarah! I have over 5 years of experience being a companion to many people of all ages on the spectrum. At 15, I was a teachers assistant in a special needs class. At 16, I spent 3 years at Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center. 2 years volunteering, & 1 year in a case study working on communication skills with students. At 18, I had the pleasure of being a caregiver at Valley life. Where I administered medicine, took care of bathroom needs-like changing diapers-getting my caretakers dressed, showering/brushing teeth. I love being a positive light that comforts and makes other people happy. A genuine laugh is one of the greatest joys in life:) I hope to one day be a music therapist for kids with special needs.
