Currently only have availability to offer reading tutoring for kids in grades K-3 on Saturday mornings before 10. Otherwise I'm unavailable until summer of 2026 - I'm getting my masters at Vanderbilt while continuing to teach 2nd grade full-time, so my time is very limited! I have over 12 years of experience teaching and tutoring grades pre-k to 3. I have also developed my own curriculum for reading tutoring which I'm further refining now in my master's program. I taught Kindergarten ML from 2017 to 2021. Before that, I worked as a 2nd grade ML teacher for 3 years in Nashville. ML stands for Multilingual learner, meaning my students speak a language other than English as their first language, so my job includes teaching them English. Because of this experience, I have become a skilled reading teacher. I also have had training and worked at Lindamood-Bell, a specialized reading clinic.
