About Sarah

I am a former youth mental health counselor with a decade of experience in child development . I'd describe my personality as compassionate, empathetic, and fun! I like working with kids because kids are our future and it really does take a village to raise them. I have two siblings that are significantly younger that I used to babysit as a teenager. From there I worked as a direct support professional for adults with developmental disabilities before getting a graduate degree in mental health counseling and working as a school-based mental health counselor for ages K-5. In my spare time, I like to collect hobbies of all variations. Some of my favorites are traveling, painting, and anything outside when the weather is nice. My skills include extensive knowledge about the emotional and mental development of children. I'm incredibly active and like to be up and moving. I see each child as an individual with different needs and believe in meeting them where they're at.
