About Sarah

I'd describe my personality as fun loving, responsible, and caring. I like working with kids because every day they are learning and growing and I like being a part of that development. It's so much fun to read to them, play with them, and expose them to different experiences and see their curiosity. Since I was an elementary education major, I worked with students in elementary schools during my undergraduate studies and after graduating. I have worked in the children's department of public libraries for about 15 years and done story times and programs for infants through 5th grade. I'm also a mom of two daughters (in their 20s). In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, watch tv, and spend time with my dogs. One thing you should know about me is I think raising kind, caring people is the most important job in the world. My skills include knowledge of child development, children's literature, and early literacy development.
