About Sarah

Learning alongside students is a true passion of mine. I hold a college degree in biological engineering, a minor in global arts, and a strong background in chemistry. I first received tutoring assistance in high school calculus and was tremendously rewarded. My confidence grew, I excelled, and later pursued engineering. Thanks to my positive experience, I aim to recreate that support for other students no matter the subject or grade level. I want to inspire curiosity and build confidence. Through active listening and observation, I will adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. I will meet each student where they're at as we work together to bridge the gap to each students individualized goals. I encourage curiosity through interactive discussions. I'll break down challenging topics with real-world examples based on interest. I celebrate successes especially the small ones. Seeing their confidence grow brings me joy.
