About Sarah

I recently relocated to the area and am looking for 1-2 families to nanny for- Ihave nannied in the past for infants up through preschool, and thoroughly enjoy it! I am background checked and CPR/First Aid certified. I have 12 years of babysitting experience, and have been working professionally with young children for 8 years both as an early childhood educator and as a behavior interventionist. I have my B. S. in child development, as well as a Masters in Early and Special Education. Working with children is my passion! Infants and toddlers are definitely my niche though I work well with children of all ages and abilities. I am a big advocate for responsive, nurturing care and supporting attachment with little ones, while supporting them as they grow and learn about the world. I am currently studying the RIE approach and loving it! When I nanny I love to fill our days with sensory exploration, songs, stories, time outside, and lots of snuggles, always following the child's lead.
