About Sarah

Sarah is the BEST. We have been fortunate to have Sarah as our nanny and part of our family for the past almost five years, starting with when my son was an infant. (We now have two kids.) Sarah has been truly invaluable for all of us throughout this time. She has a true gift with children. I learned so much from her as a new mother, and I continue to learn from her Montessori-inspired manner of being with our kids, including the way she fosters their independence, as well as her patience, calm, and always good attitude. They both love her tremendously, and I trust her completely with them. She brings her own interests and skills to their care, including her seemingly endless energy, her talent as an artist, and even sometimes visits with her dog, who our kids also love. I also appreciate that she is always genuinely engaged with our kids and is enthusiastic about anything they're into. Moreover, she has been an incredible support to our family overall, from helping us with household needs in a myriad of ways to her flexibility with scheduling and other requests to when she and her wife (who is also wonderful) even stayed at our home with my son for a couple days when I was in labor with my daughter. Beyond her childcare skills and helpfulness, Sarah is simply a wonderful person overall who we all love and very much hope to stay in touch with. I can't overstate how lucky we feel to have had her during such an important stage for our family and how sad we are that she's moving to Denver! Any family would be very lucky to have her.
