About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah and I'm 30 years old. I have worked with infants 6 weeks old to teens 18 years old. I was an elementary teacher for three years at a private and charter Montessori school in Utah; I worked with teens in the Utah foster care system; and was an Assistant Director at two childcare facilities around Portland, OR. I've also provided one-on-one care with children for 10+ years. I have alternated my entire career between childcare (my true passion) and pharmacy (which has served as a more financially viable career). I am currently the lead Pharmacy Technician College Instructor at a college in Vancouver, WA. I am looking to make a career change, back to childcare. I greatly miss working with children. The natural wonder and innate curiosity children have are fascinating and precious to me. With the summer coming, I am hoping to find a position where I can work with parents to create the best environment and opportunity for their child(ren).
