About Sarah

I believe that every student is capable of growth when given the right tools, strategies, and support. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging learning environment where students feel safe to take risks and tackle challenging content. I use a strength-based, multi-sensory approach to make math (and other topics) meaningful, accessible and enjoyable for all learners. I have a Masters in Special Education, and have been working as a Special Education Teacher and Math Specialist for 8 years. I can help with math content, executive functioning strategies, study skills, and other academic content. Please reach out if you think I'd be a good fit to support your student!
