About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah! I have several years of combined experience in nannying/caregiving, and had been a professional caregiver/DSP for almost 3 years. I am continuously learning and meeting unique personalities! This means I am comfortable working with children of all ages- with or without disabilities. I love to utilize arts and crafts, and encourage creativity so children are able to express themselves and avoid boredom. I am able to cook meals, follow guidelines for all aspects of children's care, communicate effectively with parents/guardians about daily activities and behaviors, and encourage literacy through read-aloud time and alphabet games. I have just graduated with a bachelors degree in exercise science and a minor in ASL studies. I am planning on going into speech therapy in the future. I am looking for a short to longer term position while I'm working towards achieving my goals!
