About Sarah

Hello families! My name is Sarah and I am a school administrator looking for part-time tutoring opportunities this summer in Fishers and surrounding areas. I am a certified teacher with current CPR and First Aid. Professionally, I have 15 years of experience in the education field (leadership roles as an AP, Reading Content Specialist) including 8 years as both a SPED and Gen-ed teacher and have worked with PK-12th grade. I am able to tutor in all subjects and my specialty is middle and high school ELA (where I have taught and coached teachers). I also have experience with students with autism (my own nephew, as well as students) and students with other emotional/behavior challenges. Personally, I have a 1-year-old and 8-year-old of my own. I am available 7:30AM-5 p.m. on weekdays (could arrive earlier or stay later if planned in advance). I am able to help with tasks in addition to tutoring and childcare, am comfortable with pets and am happy to drive children in my car.
