About Sarah

My first name is Sarah, but I go by Emily! When I care for children, I am passionate about being an active role in their growth and development. In addition, I deeply value making genuine connections with the kids and parents. I know and approach childcare with the knowledge that every child is different and has different needs, and I am willing and ready to meet them as best as I can. I am CPR certified, have training in child specific first aid, and have had professional training in caring for infants from 6 weeks to 12 months- though I have cared for children as old as 12 years old. In my experience in a professional setting for childcare, I was promoted from a floater covering breaks, to the head teacher in a classroom within a few months. I have a passion for the arts and music and I also have a basic understanding of American Sign Language(ASL) and like to integrate these things into my care.
