Certified through the state of Georgia (Georgia Professional Standards Commission), I attended Georgia Gwinnett College and through that program, I worked with kids of all ages including individual case studies to develop personalized education plans and lessons, and one-on-one instruction. Since then, I have worked for public Schools as a 4th and 5th grade teacher for 3 years. I am ESOL certified and have a certification in Early Literacy. These certifications allow me to teach a wide range of learners how to read and/ or advance their reading and writing skill set. I have experience working with Elementary through College-aged students in the areas of reading and writing. I can tutor Elementary aged students in all subject areas as that is what my professional experience is in. I really enjoy getting to know my students as I truly believe that people learn best from someone they know, trust, and feel is invested in them. I construct and personalize all my lessons.

Highly recommend!! Sarah is absolutely wonderful. Within just weeks, I saw a HUGE improvement in my son's academics. My son has always had issues focusing and staying engaged in school. Not only did his grades go up, but he seems genuinely excited to learn now. Instead of shying away from asking & answering questions in class, he now has started to help others in class. Sarah goes above and beyond what any other teacher/tutor has to offer. I am truly grateful & highly recommend her! She is the expert!
