About Sarah

I worked two summers in a small assisted living facility providing all encompassing care for 9-12 seniors with varying levels of independence and cognitive decline. I then went on to pursue a degree in public health finding myself enjoying the care environment. Upon graduation I have worked mostly in long term care facilities, mainly overseeing food safety. I have also been a private caregiver, private cook to an elderly woman and activity director specializing in dementia/alzheimers activities. I feel that elders need to be respected and need someone who genuinely cares and will listen to them. Getting to know elderly people can often be a blessing because they have so much life experience and stories to tell.
