About Sarah

Hello, My name is Sarah and I am a current Kindergarten teacher working in Berkeley. With 10 years of experience under my belt in the classroom ranging K-5, I have a breadth of understanding where students should start and end. After attending UC Berkeley for undergrad, I worked full time as an Associate Teacher while earning my Master's Degree from University of the Pacific. Over the last 10 year I have had the privilege of working at some of the finest private schools in the Bay Area. My teaching practice is rooted in serving the whole child, seeing each student's strength and helping them hone in on their challenge areas. As a person with learning differences, I also have a deep sense of differentiated learning practices. In addition, I am happy to host student's at my apartment in Berkeley, but am also happy to drive, if desired. My rate is 80$/hour.
