About Sarah

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am a Pre-K teacher with Austin ISD who is looking to provide babysitting and child care during summer break. I have over seven years of experience working with children in a variety of settings as a nanny, a developmental interventionist, and now as a classroom teacher. I hold both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Child Development and am passionate about providing responsive and enriching care that helps children to grow and thrive. My background in early intervention has given me experience supporting children with a wide range of developmental needs and I believe in a child-centered and play-based approached to early childcare. I love creating engaging activities that encourage creativity and exploration, while still maintaining a structured and safe environment. Most importantly, I am a warm and sensitive caregiver who models kindness and respect for all of the children in my care. I would love the opportunity to support your family this summer!
