After working as a certified teacher, instructional designer, and educational consultant, I unexpectedly had the opportunity to homeschool my twin boys for 12 years , which allowed them to have their very different learning needs met while we explored the world around us through travel and engaging in our community. Since their graduation, I have put my passion for learning to work as an educator and consultant for homeschool families for the last 5+ years. Engaging kids in learning about the world around them and watching them discover are some of my greatest pleasures.
