Hello! My name is Sarah, I'm 28 years old and a part-time caregiver. I have a Masters degree in policy and am a freelance artist and writer. I was formerly a full-time nanny/respite from 2016 to 2020, where I cared for children and disabled adults ranging from newborn to 27 years old, and have held other various part-time childcare-related jobs over the last decade. I'm comfortable with caring for up to 4 children at a time (I'm one of six kids, so used to the chaos!). I love to read, paint, cook, and listen to music in my free time. I love to be around children of all ages, and treat them with dignity and autonomy. I'm a home cook and am very organized so happy to help out with meal prep and light housework. I'm also happy to provide art lessons and homework support. I'm based in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. I do not have access to a vehicle.

Sarah was our go-to babysitter before she moved out of state. She is punctual, dependable, smart, and great with kids of all ages, aptitudes and abilities. She even stayed overnight for us on occasion. I trusted her with driving my children as well. It is difficult to find someone reliable and trustworthy who is educated and has a good head on their shoulders and Sarah is all that and more. Sadly she moved away for college or we would still be using her especially for overnights, now that our kiddos are a bit older. Whoever has the opportunity to hire this gem of a human is so fortunate! Sarah, thank you for all you did for us over the years!
