About Sarah

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to education. I hold a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from NYU, and an Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan. I specialize in helping students from elementary through high school master Math, English, History, and test preparation. I believe in fostering a genuine love for learning by building confidence and developing critical thinking skills. I adapt to your needs by actively listening and using diverse strategies, such as visual aids and hands-on problem solving. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to ensure we stay aligned on your goals. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex idea finally clicks remains the most rewarding part of my work. I am genuinely excited to help you reach your academic milestones.
