About Sarah

Hi there! I am a recent graduate from the University of Maryland looking for work. I have worked as a camp counselor at Piney Run Nature Camp and Camp Louise, working with children ages 4-14. I have also worked as a babysitter, caring for children as young as 1 years old. I am fluent in both English and Russian (with degrees for both!) and I am happy to speak either language with parents and/or children. I started working with kids a few years ago, and quickly learned how rewarding it is to see children grow and learn to face challenges in the world. I have worked with many children going through different difficulties, including ADHD, selective mutism, divorcing parents, behavioral issues, and more. I find that no matter how much a child might act out, they are still kind and loving individuals, and any misbehavior points to a need for extra support. My skills include fun, screen-free activities, cooking nutritious meals, and helping with homework. I look forward to connecting!
