About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah! I'll be based in the Bay Area starting in November, offering drop-in visits, house sitting, and dog walks, including longer hikes for high-energy dogs. Animals have been part of my life since childhood: a German shepherd/husky mix, four cats, and various small pets growing up, plus about two years volunteering at my local SPCA with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Cats have been a constant too, from two cats I had in adulthood to a rescue and two fostered kittens before I started traveling. Since then, cats and dogs alike have continued to find me during my travels through Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, and Canada, including a recent solo week-long house sit with an anxious dog that went really well. I also have a medical assisting background and years in medical offices, so I'm comfortable administering medication, from a daily pill to something more involved. I'm reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like my own.
