About Sarah

Working with the elderly and disabled has always been a big part of my life. I have over 1, 200 hours of community service at a nursing home and rehab facility because I genuinely love to spend time with patients and their families. I was lucky to find what I love at an early age, so I plan to pursue it in any way that I can. Working with the elderly became more than just a job for me- it provided me with a family. I treated each and every one of my patients as if they were my own parents; we formed extremely strong bonds that could not be broken by any sickness or misfortune. Unfortunately, I have seen a lot of injustice and cruelty toward the elderly community within the healthcare system, and that is a big part of why I want to be involved. I know that I can and will treat everyone with respect and love, and if that can take the place of even just one abusive or hateful caretaker, than I feel that I have fulfilled my purpose.
