About Sarah

Hello, I'm Sarah! I am currently an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in the Middletown area. I have two children of my own, a 2-year-old, and a 2-month-old. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. I am looking for a position where I can work with a family that allows me to provide care, while my children are present as playmates. My past work experience includes 6 years of teaching early childhood special education, 5 of which I have spent in preschool, with my first year starting out in first grade. I have also worked as a Day Camp Counselor/Unit Director at the YMCA, substitute teacher at the University of Delaware Laboratory Preschool and Early Learning Center, as well as assistant teacher at several local child care centers. The age groups I have worked with span from infants through school aged children, including children with exceptionalities.
