About Sarah

Hi families, I'm Sarah! If you are looking for a babysitter who is deeply empathetic, patient, and loves finding creative ways to connect with kids, I would love to help! By day, I work as a school paraprofessional, which means I bring professional experience, a strong understanding of diverse learning needs, and a lot of heart to childcare. I am comfortable with all age groups and have significant experience working with special needs children. I believe childcare should be active and engaging. You can usually find me encouraging kids to explore nature, joining in on imaginative pretend play, reading books together, or setting up a fun board game or video game challenge. I am more than happy to incorporate tutoring or homework support. I am currently available for after-school care and weekends, but during the summer I will have open availability. When school starts again my availability will return to after-school care and weekends.
