About Sarah

From a young age I gravitated towards caregiving and teaching. Whether it was my favorite dolls propped up in a circle around a flannel board, a puppy being potty-trained, or the baby girl next door being introduced to puréed green beans, I have always found so much satisfaction in learning how to best care for, challenge and communicate with those around me. I believe being comfortable being uncomfortable is a vital skill in any situation that has a child's greatest good in mind. Each moment is a chance to grow, set clear and consistent boundaries, instill personal, relational and social values, and celebrate our differences! Children of any age and ability need a patient and proactive caregiver who can be empathetic and flexible while ensuring a culture of respect for authority and structure. I have been honored to play even a small part in the shaping of each child I have interacted with; they are our future and I am passionate about investing in their character and wellbeing!
