About Sara

Originally from Los Angeles, I lived in Manhattan for a few years and am now in the heart of Queen Anne! As a 31 yr. old post-graduate student, I spend most of my time reading, writing, and researching. On top of that, I've got 10+ years of nannying experience, and am a former preschool teacher. I've worked with children of all ages and abilities, most recently focusing on 2-5-year-olds. I am working toward my doctorate in Psychology and have taken several child development and elementary education courses. My undergraduate degree is in Theatre, and I've been involved in the arts since I was 5. I also have a car, an updated license, and have never been in an accident. I want to mention that I'm disabled and walk with a cane, but it has never led to any issues with babysitting or providing safe, nurturing childcare. Lastly, I'm a big fan of animals and would be elated to work in a house with pets. All in all, I am very warm, grounded, and creative.
