About Sara

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, considerate, and optimistic. I like working with kids because I find their development extremely interesting. I find the work very rewarding. Kids are also so fun! I am looking for a job where I can apply and grow my learned skills. I began working with kids during my freshman year of college in 2020. I worked with two neurotypical children. I continued to work with children my junior year of college, which is when I began to work with neurodivergent children. I have worked with both types of children since then, and love it. In my free time, I like to care for my animals, cook, bake, explore, spend time outdoors, and spend time with family and friends! One thing you should know about me is that I am dependable, sociable, and strategic. I care a lot about the safety and development of the children that I work with, too. My skills include age-appropriate developmental support, de-escalation/regulation, and behavior management.
