About Sara

Hi! I'm a current graduate student with five years of experience as a lead classroom teacher. I have taught third grade English and Math, middle school English, and high school Photography. Working with closely with students and their families to achieve not only academic, but also social and emotional growth by building confidence and self-assuredness is something I feel passionately about. As someone who's worked in both traditional and Montessori schools, I have a variety of educational tools at my disposal and understand the importance of differentiating instruction to support students' individual learning styles. In my opinion, learning should be both structured and enjoyable, and as an educator I prioritize nurturing curiosity and critical thinking skills over rote memorization.
