Sara cared for my daughter from the time she was 4 months until she was 2 years old as our au pair. In the ~20 months that Sara was with us, Sara showed the utmost care and compassion for our daughter. Our daughter was born with a rare skin condition that required a lot of care, attention, and creativity when it came to watching her, and ensuring she was able to participate and play with other children. Sara took on this responsibility headfirst with an upbeat, positive, and loving attitude. Sara took the initiative and found various playgrounds, libraries/story times, and activities for our daughter to do during the work week. Sara is a very good driver and they were often out of house, exploring new parks, animal farms, aquariums - you name it. Sara also attended all of our daughter’s OT/PT appointments, and some doctor appointments. We trusted and valued her opinion on these matters as we knew Sara cared deeply about our daughter’s progress. Sara was present for her first steps! Sara really is awesome with children and would be an amazing nanny / sitter for any family.
