About Sara

I'm looking for a job that still allows me to be home with kids ages 9 and 11. I am a solo parent during the week. I started working with kids when I was a teenager with my first babysitting jobs. Since then I have worked at an elementary school, worked in a living history educational environment for 6 years, run a preschool cooperative, and had 2 kids of my own. I often volunteer at their school. In my spare time, I like to craft (knitting, crocheting, and sewing), bake, read, and enjoy the outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I'm not a big fan of screens. I think kids should be spending more time in free play, especially outdoors. My skills include patience, silliness, and quick thinking.
