About Sara

Hello! My name is Sara and I am a current junior at Penn State. When I first began working in 2021, The very first job I had was working with children. From that moment on, I knew I was passionate about helping children learn and grow. My career started off in and around the pool deck through swim coaching and teaching swim lessons. As I got to college, I eventually began working at Windmill Day Camp in Doylestown, PA over my summers. Here, I learned to work with a variety of ages and a more methodical approach to lesson planning and session management. This helped me to see that working with children is what I want to do for the future. Now that I am at school and becoming more independent, I am still looking for ways to incorporate the jobs I am so passionate about into my Penn State life. I hope to continue to help children learn and grow, while also providing them with a safe environment to grow up and just be a kid!
