I'm a mother who's been caring for a beautiful young woman with cerebral palsy for 17 wonderful years! I worked for a private family so E was my only client. My duties included taking her to a special class. I assisted her in doing her school work. She was in a wheelchair so I transferred her from car to chair. And I assisted in taking her to the bathroom. We went to lunch everyday & had a wonderful time eating at different restaurants!! We both enjoy eating! I had a lot of leeway taking E to the library, Rec center, to the park, movies, and most of all shopping!! So I tried to give E a wonderful life because she's special! I try to give my clients a friend to be with that cares! From the years 2021 through 2025, I cared for a lovely elderly lady with dementia. My duties included bathing & dressing, feeding, and companionship. I assisted with her exercise therapy and we loved working crossword puzzles. Also I performed hospice duties at the end of her life.
