About Sara

Hi my name is Sara! I'm very positive and energetic with my students to try and create a warm/welcoming learning environment. My specialty is in English (writing/grammar). I was chosen by my school to tutor my other students throughout high school and helped them write and correct their college admissions essays. I have been tutoring English outside of that for nearly 2 years now I have 2 years of experience working in adaptive skills and teaching people who are on the spectrum. In total, I have about 7. 5 years of experience working with twice exceptional students. For younger kids (elementary-middle school) I can tutor math and science. I am able to help with school work and projects and will even provide my own practice problems and but educational activities to help their retention rate and learning abilities. I myself play the piano and have been for 12 years now. I am very well versed in reading sheet music and following notes if this is something you're interested in as well
