I love working with the elderly and to give back to others that are not as fortunate as I am. furthermore, I worked as a Home caregiver for a year and I loved it. I supported an individual s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts. I cared for an individual in an institutional setting or group home settings. I initiated other measures to control behavior, such as caring for own clothing and other things. I identified signs of emotional or developmental problems in individuals. I kept records on individuals, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered. I instructed an individual about health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits. I performed housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing of linens.
