I cannot say enough great things about Sandy! She was able to take my son from reading well below grade level to reading at grade level by the end of the school year. My son is not the most eager learner and had undiagnosed ADHD when she began. Sandy helped me work with the school, attending parent teacher conferences, and spoke to the teachers to be sure she was supplementing school work in the best ways possible. She created a plan and stuck to it. Sandy has a great way of balancing "no nonsense" with fun and is genuinely interested in my son, cheering him along in his successes. There is not a doubt in my mind that my son would still be struggling and hating school without her help. She worked with us through almost all of the "covid" school year and is continuing now so I can be sure my son keeps on the right track and making gains. Five stars does not give enough credit to all Sandy has done for us.
