About Sandy

I have worked with children since I was a child myself. I babysat neighborhood kids through summer's and all through junior high and high school. During 12th grade and 1 yr. before starting college I then worked as a para-professional at 'Kids for the Future',(KFF) a learning facility in Forrest City, AR for kids raised in low income families.(Medicaid, etc.) I worked with treatment plans and daily goals from children ranging in ages 6 mo. to 5 yrs. (pre-k) I discovered then my passion... being apart of any learning experience of a child! Awesome! I also directed an after school tutoring program at and for the same KFF facility. I tutored kids after school from k-4th graders. AMAZING! I still am contacted by those kids, etc. They never forgot Ms. Sandy! I like to make a difference in lives, especially children's. I have a special connection with kids. I can't explain it but it's definitely a gift! I'm from a small town in AR I was raised with manners and great southern hospitality. I also know how to discipline with calm words. No physical or yelling needed. Much more effective this way. I took some college courses in early childhood development and child psychology. Although I didn't end up with a degree I learned a great deal! I hope you consider me I will help you in any way needed and I will love and care for your kid(s) whatever their needs may be, whenever you are unavailable or just need a helping hand! I got you!
