About Sandy

I'm a certified elementary teacher with a Master's degree and 12+ years of experience teaching children from diverse backgrounds in the U. S. and internationally. I specialize in reading, literacy, ELA, writing, and individualized academic support. My goal is to help children become confident, independent learners while making learning engaging and fun. I get to know each child-their personality, interests, strengths, and challenges-and adapt my teaching to what helps them succeed. I love finding the visual, game, example, or real-life connection that makes something finally click. Just as important, I build caring relationships with my students and communicate closely with families. Whether your child needs intervention, enrichment, homework help, or homeschool support, I would love to help them grow!
