Hello my name is Sandy. I've been in child care for over 20+ years. I worked with infants - school age children. I love seeing the smiles on there little faces. I am a single mom of a teenager who has Asperger's I love spending time with my son, but I also love being with my large family, and friends. I also know basic sign language. and I am CPR and first aide certified. I just recently got re certified for CPR and first aid. I just wanted to update my profile. and let everyone know that I practice the CDC guidelines. . I stay home. When grocery shopping I do curbside pickup. If I have to go out I where a mask, and I just purchased a shield protector. My safety and the family that chooses me to be the Nanny is the utmost important to me. And I hope it is has important to you. Also any nanny job that I do or did had I would just go to my job and come back home.. I hope this puts your mind at ease when considering for a Nanny. We connected with Sandy during a really difficult time in our lives; our daughter had a NG feeding tube, was bottle refusing and we were trying to keep her out of daycare because we knew if she went, her tube would fall out everyday. Right away upon meeting Sandy, our daughter felt comfortable around her when she is typically pretty shy even when mom and dad are around. When Sandy started taking care of our daughter, Sandy had her on the bottle within two weeks after we spent 3-4 months at least trying to get her on the bottle! Sandy was a blessing to have in our lives because we knew Mila was in good hands when we were away at work all day and Sandy also was helpful with advice and support from her past experience with babies. With our daughter starting daycare in the new year we will miss having Sandy in our every day lives during the week but we know our paths will cross again if we ever need child care for date day or nights! Forever thankful for meeting Sandy and having her a part of our daughter life!
