Sandy was our very first nanny and cared for two babies who were 10 months old when they first met her. She made the transition of returning back to work so much easier with her calming presence and natural talent for childcare. She approached each day with a professional learning curriculum including planned art projects (gorgeous keepsakes), circle time, songs with hand motions, sorting colors, learning words, and even sign language. The babies grew and developed tremendously while under Sandy's care, it was amazing to see! It was clear that she deeply cared for them and understood their unique personalities and needs. She kept to their schedules and communicated clearly throughout each day with updates, photos, and questions. We also loved that she sent a daily recap of eating, naps, diapers, and activities. I often sought advice from Sandy based on her experience with things like clothing, feeding, calming, and grooming (she has great tips!). She also helped with household chores like keeping the nursery & kitchen tidy, keeping floors clean, and preparing meals for baby as well as meal prep for the parents. I also wanted to highlight that Sandy communicated whenever she was running late due to traffic/other as she knew how important it was for us to juggle our morning routines. Thank you for keeping our lives on track, Sandy! You will be missed dearly when you start your new job at a NYC school, they are lucky to have Ms. Sandy joining their team!
