About Sandra

I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing & encouraging I like caring for seniors because I believe that there is no greater privilege than to care for someone with dignity and respect. I'm looking for a job that allows me to put my life experience to good use. I started caring for seniors when my grandparents got older and needed help. I quickly found out the importance of listening and helping them with their daily activities and finding different ways to help occupy their time. In my spare time, I like to do crafts, read, watch football (Go Bills), do puzzles & games. One thing you should know about me is that I will do whatever is needed when it comes to non medical senior care. I also have personal experience in dealing with Alzheimer's & dementia & know how important keeping seniors engaged in activity is. My skills include an ability to listen with patience & understanding, using humor to put them at ease and problem solving skills to make life easier for them.
