With three years of tutoring experience and a college degree, I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material, varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and encourage curiosity through interactive discussions. Communication is key, and I prioritize building trust and a collaborative environment with students and parents. Regular updates help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I have CPR training and First Aid.
