About Sandra

I have a PhD in Developmental Psychology and I taught at the college level for 30 years. During that time, I helped hundreds of students develop critical thinking skills by holding tutoring sessions during my office hours for small groups of students. I also helped them develop their writing skills, even though I was teaching psychology. I believe that every stident is capable of learning and achieving success. The secret is to help each student figure out their best method of learning. My knowledge and understanding of child development enables me to utilize approaches suitable for different age ranges. As the mother of 5 and grandmother of 10, I have years of experience teaching outside of classroom settings. My goal, no matter where I teach, is to help individuals develop the skills they need to succeed in acquiring knowledge and using it.
